Form Cooperative Societies, Kabarole RDC Tells Residents

The Kabarole resident district commissioner (RDC), Charles Ndiwa Chemasuet, has asked residents to pool resources to form cooperative societies.

The Kabarole resident district commissioner (RDC), Charles Ndiwa Chemasuet, has asked residents to pool resources to form cooperative societies.
Chemasuet was recently addressing members of Nyabukara Savings and Credit Cooperative Society at Mukubo Church of Uganda in Fort Portal.
“Bringing people together in a cooperative society will promote the culture of saving which lacks among many Ugandans,” Chemasuet said.
Nyabukara Savings and Credit Cooperative Society last year made a profit of over sh2.1m.
