UPDF Chief Political Commissar Brig. Kale Kaihura has lashed out at MPs for supporting a motion declaring northern Uganda a disaster area, at a time when the rebellion was coming to an end.

UPDF Chief Political Commissar Brig. Kale Kaihura has lashed out at MPs for supporting a motion declaring northern Uganda a disaster area, at a time when the rebellion was coming to an end.
He said it was unfortunate for Ugandan legislators to mix partisan politics with national issues.
This was during an interview at his Okello House office.
Kaihura said, “LRA top commanders and their aides had been killed by the UPDF. the remaining ones had resorted to killing innocent Ugandans in the camps, but we will get them.â€
