SC Villa v Bullets
Namboole, Sunday

SC Villa have declared Sunday women’s day.

Club treasurer Umar ‘Mandela’ Omar has revealed that women, and their children below teen age, will enter free to watch the African Champions League tie against Bakili Bullets of Malawi. All men will however pay to enter.

Villa are seeking all the support they can gather to morale boost their team to overturn a 2-1 first leg defeat.

“What we are looking at is getting more people back to the stadium. We want the kind of support that these people (Bullets) had in Blantyre,” said Villa’s treasurer Omar Mandela.

Malawian champions Bullets are set to arrive on Thursday with a contingent of 20 vocal fans.
