The office of the University Secretary/Registrar announces the introduction of EVENING
PROGRAMMES to commence on 19th April 2004 and to be offered at ST. JAMES
SECONDARY SCHOOL CENTRE on Plot 2/12 Clive Road.
CURRICULUM
The curriculum offered have been approved by the University Senate and will be taught by lecturers approved by the University Senate.
Initially four programmes leading to the award of degree award namely:
i) Bachelor of Business Management
ii) Bachelor of Development Studies
iii) Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration
iv) Bachelor of Commerce
are to be conducted at St. James S.S. Centre from Monday to Friday and between 5:00p.m.
to 9:45p.m. There will be no lectures on Saturdays and Sundays.
Applicants must have two principal passes in relevant subjects.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Application forms are available at the University's Jinja Town Hall Liaison office, the office of the Headmaster St. James. S.S. and the University's headquarters in Iganga at a fee of Ushs.
12,000/=. Apply by 31st March 2004 for the April 2004 intake.
BUSOGA UNIVERSITY DEGREE FOUNDATION COURSE APRIL 2004 INTAKE
Applications are also invited from A-Level leavers with one principal who wish to persue University education. The Busoga University Degree Foundation Course will be conducted at Iganga Campus commencing 19th April 2004 - 31st August 2004. The course is full-time and run from Monday to Saturday. Successful completion of the course offer an A’ level leaver with one principal, a second chance to gain entry to appropriate under graduate programmes at Busoga University next October. Apply by 31st April 2004 at the University headquarters in Iganga.
