Thugs Kill 1, Injure 4 In Masaka

Armed thugs recently raided Kamenyamigo Agricultural Training and Information Centre in Masaka district, killing a guard and injuring several people.

Armed thugs recently raided Kamenyamigo Agricultural Training and Information Centre in Masaka district, killing a guard and injuring several people.
They robbed property worth millions of shillings.
The southern Regional Police Commander, Eugene Nkore, identified the security guard as J.B Ssenyonga.
Nkore said the thugs, armed with SMG rifles and pangas, attacked Misanvu area on the evening of March 9.
Residents said they suspected that the thugs were rebels and blamed the Police for failing to track them down.
No suspects have been arresteds yet.
Nkore said the thugs continued to a bar owned by Kadi Matovu, shot him in the leg and robbed him of his shoes and an unspecified sum of money.
They turned on Richard Kiwalabye, a client at the bar, and robbed him of his bicycle and sh10,000.
They thereafter headed to Kasenyi village where they cut Rubobi in the stomach with a machete and robbed him of sh50,000.
The thugs proceeded to the neighbouring village of Nzinzi, where they beat up Emmanuel Musunda.
Nkore appealed to anyone with information concerning the thugs to call the LCs and the Police.
