EU funds Mukono road works
THE European Development Fund (EDF) has funded the construction of feeder roads in 15 sub-counties in Mukono district worth sh982.785m.

THE European Development Fund (EDF) has funded the construction of feeder roads in 15 sub-counties in Mukono district worth sh982.785m.
In a statement released recently, the district chairperson, Godfrey Ddamulira, said the roads were constructed by the EDF directorate of technical services and infrastructure development last year.
Ddamulira said the Nakasajja-Namasumbi- Namataba, Kanyogoza-Nagojje, Balimanyankya-Ngogwe-Ssi and Nansagazi roads cost sh854.485m.
He said Seeta-Kasubi, Kagombya-Seeta feeder roads cost sh26.4m and sh17.6m respectively, adding construction was still going on.
