It is an insult to subscribers to call the sh10,000 a prepaid deposit because:

This money is not a deposit as it is deducted from our accounts at the beginning of every month.

It is not justified. utl call charges for the prepaid landline are more expensive than those on the Classic landline (the one with bills).

Why should the prepaid landline have a service charge yet this money is recovered through the higher call rates? This is very unfair to utl customers. Thank God at least we have alternatives today.
