UGANDA Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) will select a new crop of boxers to feature in Africa Zone Five boxing championship due in Nairobi, Kenya next month.
UABF secretary Sande Musoke said the grand trial due this month April 16-18 is the first step in grooming a new team to join the national side-The Bombers.
“We are anticipating a major crisis after this year’s Olympic Games.
Many boxers have eyes on the paid ranks, so we do not want to be caught unaware,†said Musoke.
