OVER thirty schools have registered to take part in the first edition of the National Secondary Schools Handball competition that throws off at the Gombe Secondary School field. The three-day competition will see the likes of St Henry’s Kitovu and Kasawo Secondary School attempt try to win another title during the Easter weekend.

THE Commonwealth Boxing Commission (CBC) president Celestino Mindra has hailed sports tycoon Michael Ezra for his good efforts that he has put into boxing in the country. The CBC boss made these remarks at a press conference that he called at Tourist hotel.

TREVOR Dudley, the founder of Kampala Kids League stormed Gulu district through Alliance for Africa to explore and quickly form a branch of the kids soccer teams in Gulu, called Gulu Kids League (GKL). He said the KKL will open up a branch for Gulu and try to train the displaced and streets kids togther with those in the primary schools.

NORTHERN Division collected 476 points to emerge champions of the 2004 Mbale Municipality Primary Schools Inter-Division athletics competition held at Mbale Stadium. Industrial Division who performed well in the girls events came second with 450 points while Wanale took the third position.
