ORPHANED Mbale Heroes FC return to the Top Radio Super League action against fellow easterners Iganga FC tomorrow on Easter Sunday after mourning their club patron the late foreign minister James Wapakhabulo.

According to club vice chairman (technical) Stephen Namonyo, the match will be used as a first test for their newly recruited Rwandese coach Ali Bizimungu, who replaced Ibrahim Maruti.
Heroes who have performed dismally since the league kicked off, badly need maximum points from the tie to win back moral support from their fans.

The team has been out of action since losing 0-3 in an away encounter against Simba at Nakivubo Stadium four weeks ago.
Heroes failed to travel to Masindi for their game against Kinyara because of Wapakhabulo’s death.
Wapakhabulo’s death dealt a big blow to Heroes as the late second deputy prime minister used to solicit financial and other support for the 1999 Kakungulu Cup winners.

Meanwhile, former Mityana Utoda coach Ramathan Tano on Thursday guided his current club Masaka LC to a 2-1 Top Radio Super League victory over Police FC.
Ayub Balyejusa and Badru Senkayi scored for Masaka while Lawrence Segawa snatched what proved to be just a consolation for Police at the death.
