FEDERATION of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has mourned the death of former national striker Charles Kayemba, who was found dead in his room at Kamwokya on Tuesday. “We ask you to pass over our heartfelt condolences to his relatives. We should all learn from his good deeds,” FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda said of the former league top scorer.

ATHENS — Rail and tram links being built for the Athens Olympics in August will be ready in time, the transport minister said on Wednesday, after part of the project was scrapped to keep it on track. "The suburban rail and tram projects are moving at a satisfactory pace. Both will be ready for use in July," transport minister Michael Liapis told reporters.
