LOCAL firms have been advised to declare their earning in order to attract capital investment and become corporate entities.

David Jamwa-Chandi, a partner at Pricewater house Coopers (PWC) said this during a corporate governance breakfast at Grand Imperial Hotel on Wednesday.

“Value reporting, which also includes reporting business performance and analysing the financial position of the firm is the future of business in Uganda,” he said.

Jamwa-Chandi said companies should adopt the corporate governance framework, which ensures accurate disclosure on all matters including finance and performance.

PWC’s country leader Joseph Baliddawa, said private and public sectors must undergo structural and ethical reforms to attract local and foreign investors.
