UGANDAN clubs are struggling in Kigali.

After Tanzania’s Simba edged champions SC Villa 2-1 on Saturday, Rwandan giants APR added to the injury by humbling Express 4-1 last night.

It was that guy Jimmy Gatete at it again. Rwandan president Paul Kagame watched the game.

Gatete scored the winner as Rwanda beat Uganda in a Nations Cup qualifier at Mandela stadium last year.

Three quick goals in the second half from Gatete, Kenyan Mark Sirengo and apiece from Jimmy Mulisa erased Hassan Mubiru’s first half equaliser. APR are fresh from dumping out Zamalek in the African Champions League.

Meanwhile, 2-1 win by Simba has dealt the CECAFA club champions a big blow.

The Ugandans champions now have to fight to win its two remaining fixtures comfortably today and on Wednesday to keep their flag flying.

For a start, Villa must be at their very best in search of goals against Djibouti’s National Marine Guards today.

Villa coach, Serbian Sredejovic Milutin ‘Micho’, has to come out with a quick a rescue mission.

Strikers Noordin Nsiiga, Santos Amboka, Bernard Mwalala and Morley Bwekwaso have to take their chances or Villa will pay dearly.
