OVER 15 artistes from the western region are expected to grace this year’s Western Musical Talent Festival.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Radio West, the main sponsors, said the festival would expose talent from the region and market its entertainment potential.
“It is an opportunity for Ugandans to appreciate local talent and be entertained. We want to make this a tradition for promoting local artistes,†Radio West marketing manager Itaza Muhiirwa said.
Muhiirwa said the festival, which is the second of its kind, would be held at Didi’s World in Kansanga on May 7th.
It will feature artistes like Stanley Mparo, Romeo Akiiki and John Kaahwa as well as the Kads Band, Rays Band, Jacoba Band and Ma-Africa.
