DONORS and National Agricultural Advisory Development Services (NAADS) officials recently visited Kabarole district to review NAADS activities.
LC5 chairperson Augustine Kayonga and other district stakeholders met with the officials.
The review team, led by the programme officer in the Royal Danish Embassy, John Olweny, said they were happy about participation of women, but expressed concern about lack of involvement of the youth.
“Kabarole has done well but should work harder to mobilize the youth. The future of agriculture is in their hands,” Olweny said.
He advised farmers on the advantages of farming in co-operative groups.
