PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS (PWC) will hold its annual recruitment drive at Makerere University Main Hall on Saturday.
“It’s the only event in Uganda which gives students a chance to asses potential employers and learn about the careers they could pursue at PWC,” a human capital partner with the firm, David Jamwa-Chandi, said recently.
He said the firm had staff from Uganda who were being seconded to the US, United Kingdom, Kenya and Tanzania.
The event attracts finalists from Makerere and other private universities like Nkumba, Bugema and Nkozi.
“We look for the best and the brightest because we apply empirically-proven recruitment methods and are ready to invest in our workforce,” Jamwa-Chandi said.
He said human capital was the only asset of the firm which solves complex problems and adds value to the company.
“Working at PWC means working as part of a team of forward-looking professionals who are constantly striving to deliver integrated solutions in an atmosphere of continous learning,” a recruitment manager with the firm, Cedric Mpobusingye, said.
