Adventists stage concerts
BEING overshadowed by a visitor is the nightmare of every artiste. But both the Royal Gents and Hilton High School choir performed well at the joint launch of their albums at Makerere Adventist Centre recently.

BEING overshadowed by a visitor is the nightmare of every artiste. But both the Royal Gents and Hilton High School choir performed well at the joint launch of their albums at Makerere Adventist Centre recently.
Heavenly Chambers, a choir of four youthful family members opened the afternoon concert with their gospel hit Emmanuel.
The Canaanites choir, based at Abayita Ababiri livened up the audience with their song, Ensi Eno Empya, a slow dance hit. They used expressions to juxtapose the joy in heaven with the anguish in hell.
They also sang Talanta, which urges people to use their talents to do God’s will and Musa Agenda, an Old Testament narrative of the encounter between Moses and the Pharaoh. Mukono Adventist Church choir’s choreographic mass choir worked up the audience with Abakunguzi (Vineyard workers), a first paced dance track that challenges believers to play their roles in the evangelism. They also sang Nnina Kyendowooza.
Mukono Hilton High School choir struck the audience with their beautiful uniform. The students were launching their album, Kifaananyi Ki.
They performed Kannyimbe ku Kwagala kwa Yesu, Kifaananyi Ki, The lord is coming and Ninyenda. The Royal Gents, who launched their album, Sooka Omunoonye put up a splendid show. They sang Erinnya Lya Yesu and A Little Talk with Jesus, among others.
Kampala SDA choir sang a number of songs from its repertoire.
However, fans kept on demanding that they sing Oluyimba Olw’ettendo. Many of the fans took to the dance floor as it was sung.
