By David Muwanga Engaano Millers Limited, a local company, has taken over the assets of Uganda Grain Milling Company Limited (UGMC) and resumed production of NUVITA poultry and animal feeds. “Other firms whose assets we have taken over but excluded their liabilities are Uganda Feeds Limited and Bread Limited who used to produce Tip Top Bread. The bread will be back on the market soon,†the firm’s marketing manager, Anil Kumar, said recently at Lugogo. Kumar said the company which closed almost a year ago will start by producing 2,500 tonnes of feeds every day. “The only challenge we are faced with is lack of our products on the market. We plan to re-open all the former branches. We have started with one on Nasser Road,†he said. Kumar said they were re-entering the market with a lot of consciousness. Ends
