AN unidentified woman caused a stir in a New Taxi Park- Bweyogerere bound taxi when she shouted that she had boarded a wrong taxi. The passengers were all thrown into a state of confusion when the woman suddenly started shouting at the top of her voice and slapping the taxi roof in her bid to stop it. “This taxi seems to be taking a wrong direction today. Where are you people going? I am not for this road, she shouted. The elderly woman, who pleaded not to pay the fare, after the taxi had reached Hotel Equatorial, said she was meant to travel to Nabulagala, Kasubi. She confessed that she had only sh800 meant to transport her to her destination. She blamed UTODA guide for leading her to a wrong taxi.
The taxi conductor couldn’t let her disembark, unless she paid shs500 for the route. A good Samaritan who was touched sympathised and paid for the elderly lady.
She left while cursing the taxi conductor.
