Sheik steals sandals in mosque, flees from mob

Kayunga sheik was caught red handed stealing sandals of a colleague who had entered the mosque to praise Allah.
The sheik pretended to be reading his Quran. But when he saw that the colleague had entered, he picked the brand new Bata sandals and took off.
The sandal owner then realised he had forgotten to wash one of his body parts. When he moved out he saw sheik fleeing with his sandals and made an alarm.
The alarm drew Moslems especially the youth from different parts of Kayunga west and the sheik was instantly caught. Irate Moslems wanted to set him ablaze, but Kayunga Police stepped in and whisked him away. Sources said the sheik, who is now in Kayunga cells asked Moslems for forgiveness.
