Man arrested

THE Police in Kamuli are holding a 45-year-old man over the recent murder of his wife.
Mpagi Bogere of Bupyana village, Gadumire sub-county allegedly struck the head of his wife, Florence Nabirye, into two halves with an axe, killing her instantly. He had suspected her of infidelity.

Student dies

A DRUNKEN local administration Police constable has shot dead a student of Kapkoch Secondary School in Kapchorwa district, Police chief Tomson Ogole said recently.
He said James Boyo, in an attempt to shoot his wife, Monica Boyo, mistakenly fired at Scovia Chelangat, a senior four student.
