The High Court has sentenced two men to death for aggravated robbery and murder
The High Court has sentenced two men to death for aggravated robbery and murder, Nathan Etengu reports.
Hazara Okiror, alias Opesto, and Sam Ochieng were sent to the gallows by Mbale resident judge, Justice Rugadya Atwooki.
The convicts committed the offence on October 12, 2001 when they robbed Joseph Agama of Opeta village, Pallisa district and shortly afterwards shot him dead.
Rugadya had earlier acquitted six other suspects who had been jointly charged with the convicts.
