IT was a donor-meet-beneficiary affair when the Norwegian NGO Stromme Foundation (SF) celebrated 10 years in East Africa.

David Bahati, head of finance and administration at the Population Secretariat who was educated by SF said, “Stromme has made me what I am and I don’t know how to pay them back,” said Bahati, who said he was orphaned at age of three.

The function at Speke Resort Munyonyo was attended by general duties minister in the Premier’s Office Mondo Kagonyera, Norwegian ambassador Tore Gjos, the Archbishop Church of Uganda, Henry Luke Orombi, SF international chairman Geir Magnus, international director Oistein Garcia De presmo and S.F regional chief Priscilla Serukka.

Over 20 girls affected by the north war and 30 street children from Mbale, who are undergoing rehabilitation through SF, entertained the guests.
