Never mess with the Abambowa, Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s traditional guards so Vision photographer, Albert Ayiga Ondonga discovered last Sunday at Bulange during the 8th anniversary celebrations of CBS FM.
Never mess with the Abambowa, Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s traditional guards so Vision photographer, Albert Ayiga Ondonga discovered last Sunday at Bulange during the 8th anniversary celebrations of CBS FM.
At the celebrations, Ayiga earned the wrath of the Abambowa first for sitting with his legs stretched out and pointing towards the Kabaka, which is taboo.
After earning himself some strokes of the cane on his knees, he duly complied.
As the function continued, he rose to take a picture of Mutebi consulting his Katikkiro, Joseph Semwogerere.
No problem with that. However, after taking the picture he turned and walked away showing the Kabaka his backside, which irked and had the Abambowa spitting fire.
As he walked, the Abambowa forcibly grabbed him by the waist and turned him round so that the offending backside no longer faced his Majesty!
