Buwenge Town Council in Jinja district has stopped Mino Construction Company from renovating the central market for allegedly doing shoddy work.
A team that included mayor Hassan Isabirye and acting town clerk Ben Kulaba on Thursday inspected the construction site and established that the work was substandard.

The eastern region Police commander, Bob Ngobi, has asked the public not to take civil cases to the Police, because it is only responsible for criminal cases.
