Work nearly came to a standstill recently when a five-year-old boy took to his heels screaming at the Old Taxi Park police post after seeing armed policemen, writes Robert Wabomba.

The boy only identified as Baker was in the company of their family driver who had gone to rescue a friend from the police post. Asked why he was running, Baker said he feared to be arrested by the armed policemen. The terrified boy had to wait for their driver from the car.

baker was walking hand in hand with the driver but took off as soon as the two entered the police post. Baker thought that he was going to be arrested.

The policemen abandoned their seats to see Baker who ran away yelling as the driver followed closely behind. They were surprised at the way Baker was dodging cars in the crowded car park.

He was found banging the family's car doors in an attempt to open . Baker was locked in the car and the driver went alone to the police post.
