<b>Lady charged</b><br>FIONA Nabukenya, the lover of a Chinese teenager who reportedly stabbed his uncle to death, was yesterday charged with helping him to escape to Tanzania.

FIONA Nabukenya, the lover of a Chinese teenager who reportedly stabbed his uncle to death, was yesterday charged with helping him to escape to Tanzania.
Twenty-year old Nabukenya, a resident of both Kansanga and Mombasa, Kenya, appeared before Buganda Road Court Magistrate Olive Kazaarwe.
Prosecutor Patricia Faucan told Kazaarwe that Nabukenya helped her boyfriend, Wang Nan, to escape from Uganda, so as to escape justice.
Nabukenya denied the charges.

Defiler freed
The Masaka high court judge, Kibuka Musoke, has freed a defiler and cautioned him against committing the offence again.
Abdu Kalyango, 23, of Bugango village, Kalungu in Masaka district, pleaded guilty to defilement. He committed the offence on April 29, 2002.
The prosecution proved that Kalyango had sexual intercourse with a 16-year old girl and rented her a room in Ssembabule district when he noticed that she was pregnant.

Man lynched

A VILLAGE mob beat a suspected robber to death and nearly set his body on fire. The Police arrived as they looked for paraffin.
The incident took place at Mulungiomu village in Butuntumula sub-county, Katikamu in Luweero district on Monday.
The Police said the incident was sparked off by a Sunday night robbery in which three unidentified thugs robbed a coffee trader of sh200,000.
