PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has advised the youth to get partners and marry to avoid being tempted by the evils of the world.

Museveni also expressed happiness that today’s youth got into marriage after appreciating each other and were able to tolerate each other’s behaviour.

The president was attending the wedding ceremony of Bernard Kabanda and Joan Nyangoma at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero, on Saturday, a state house statement yesterday said.

The Prime minister, Apolo Nsibambi, also attended the ceremony presided over by the Rev. Michael Okwii.

Kabanda is the son of the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Eng. Bill Kabanda.

The statement said the President said life involved marrying and starting a family, as well as acquiring wealth, which he said was a facilitation for life.
Museveni also said the role of parents was consultation.
