SIR— In my view, the main criticism against the DP leader, Paul Ssemogerere
SIR— In my view, the main criticism against the DP leader, Paul Ssemogerere, is not that he is talking of vision instead of spelling it out in concrete terms. We need visions and dreams because they create hope as opposed to delusions and despair.
The fault lies in Ssemogerere. His vision consists in intransigence, in the belief that he has the vision and those who disagree with him — his colleagues and the entire DP parliamentary caucus — do not. What can he tell Museveni when he can’t leave?
