The story so far:
Samsoni makes a new friend who lives in a big house and brings things to school.

The story continues:
“You can keep it for one night,” Gus said. “Bring it back tomorrow.”
Samsoni was the happiest boy in Kauka. He took the radio and headphones home and put them in the secret box he kept underneath his bed.

After he had finished doing his homework, Samsoni returned to his bedroom, which he shared with Muko. He pulled out the radio and listened to the tunes from the moon. When he heard Muko coming, Samsoni quickly put the radio away.

“Come and drink tea!” Muko barked.
Samsoni joined the rest of the family at the dinning room table.
“How was Luwero?” Mrs. Mulondo asked her husband. Mr. Mulondo had taken some visitors to Luwero in his taxi.

“It rained most of the time we were there,” Mulondo yawned. “I was happy about that because the visitors wanted to return early.”
After tea, Mr. Mulondo who was the LC secretary for security, was called away to a neighbouring house.

"Who wants to come with me?" he asked his children. Only Samsoni had finished his homework. Samsoni and his father walked through the Kauka shops and down a lane which led to the biggest house in Kauka.
"My friend Gus lives here!" Samsoni gasped.

“Is your friend from Congo, because the man who lives here is from the Congolese embassy,” his father replied.

"No, Gus is from Uganda."
A man in a long sleeved jacket, buttoned up to the collar, opened the door.

"LC security?" the man's eyes widened, "I have been waiting for you. My name is Kasonga, first secretary, Congolese Embassy."
Mulondo shook hands with Kasonga and he led them to the sitting room.

"I'm being robbed." Kasonga burst out even before they had taken their seats. "I have lost my radio and my watch and I haven't even been in Uganda two weeks!"
"Two weeks!" Mr. Mulondo exclaimed. "When did your things go missing?"

"I have been looking for my radio since yesterday and my watch disappeared the day before that."
Mr. Mulondo looked around the room.

"Have you reported the break-in to anyone?"

"There is no sign of a break-in and am reporting the theft to you now," Mr. Kasonga answered irritably. "I live alone you know, with just my housekeeper and her son."
