SIR— In his letter to The New Vision of November 15 titled, “Kayongo is mistaken about Lugandaâ€, Joseph Opige of Soroti was mistaken about Kayongo.
He expressed disgust over Kayongo who had given a sound reason in proposing that the White Paper would have taken Luganda and not Swahili for a national language, since it is one of the native languages in Uganda.
