FOTOGENIX Limited has launched the first full digital printing machine.
Fotogenix’s marketing manager, Kevin Munyani said, “Fotogenix is the authorised distributor of Kodak in Uganda. We have introduced Noritsu QSS 3202, a Japanese-made digital solutions machine.â€
Munyani said at their offices in Old Kampala recently that unlike ordinary photo printing machines, the Noritsu uses laser technology and photographic paper.
He said the Noritsu has digital camera memory cards and images from film can be stored on a compact or floppy diskette.
Munyani said it can convert an album into a compact diskette, which can be viewed on a desk top.
He said they can produce calendars and business cards with a person’s photo after a few minutes.
Munyani said the Noritsu has high-speed printers.
