The function is organised by the Uganda Alumni Association (UAA) and the British Council at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
UAA is an interactive forum for British and Ugandan students.
The British Council education services officer, Sarah Lubulwa, said the theme of the meeting was ‘Empowering People Through Education: Education as a Human Rights Issue’.
Lubulwa said UAA, which was formed in 2000, promoted professional networking among members.
The Uganda Human Rights Commission chairperson, Margaret Ssekaggya, is to chair the occasion.
