A multi-billion shilling hotel being constructed by the former army commander, Maj. Gen. James Kazini, has stalled due to his failure to pay the contractors.
Kazini is building the hotel on a plot overlooking Kasese town, which was donated to him by the town council two years ago.
A contractor at the site said they had not been paid over sh10m for work done more than a year ago.
Attempts by The New Vision to reach Kazini were futile.
