KABALE — Women should be able to say no to sexual advances from men to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS. The secretary for health and environment, Emmanuel Ruta, said it was dangerous to be “too submissive on sex”. He was on Saturday presiding at the World AIDS day celebrations at Kyanamira in Ndorwa.

RUKUNGIRI — bodaboda cyclists should not ride without helmets, traffic officer Moses Bakenda has warned. He told the cyclists to have a second helmet for a passenger. Bakenda was on Friday meeting over 200 bodaboda cyclists in the town. He warned that offenders would be fined sh40,000.
