Mackay church in Nateete has received a piano and two loud speakers worth sh4.4m.
The equipment was donated by the family of the late Kitunzi in Lungujja, a city suburb, on Sunday.
The 10:00am service led by the Rev. Stephanie Kikakanya, was echoed with praises for the Kitunzi’s family.
Ululation and jubilations from the parishioners climaxed the day.
“We are delighted. For many years we lacked a piano in our church but by God’s grace, the Kitunzi family came to the church’s plight,” she said.
Das Air cargo transported the equipment free from the United Kingdom.
Stephen Ssebuliba, on behalf of the family, said they offered the equipment after realising that the church lacked them.
