Fun Run grosses sh6m for charity

AN estimated sh6m was raised at the third International Charity Fun run that was held last Sunday at International School of Uganda.

AN estimated sh6m was raised at the third International Charity Fun run that was held last Sunday at International School of Uganda.
Stanbic Bank sponsored the event that had 220 athletes running in five and 10-kilometre races.
David Busulwa won the 10-kilometre race with Charles Mukasa and Frank Bwambale finishing second and third respectively.
The women’s race was won by Margaret Nakintu, Glenda Siegrist and Gail Keech finishing second and third.
The bank gave sh3.5m to the three charities, the Hardship Fund for Mildmay, the Entebbe Child Welfare Unit and Welcome Home Ministry Orphanage in Jinja.
