THREE Lord’s resistance Army rebels were killed when the army attacked their hideout in Patiko sub-county, Aswa county in Gulu district.
Army spokesman Lt. Paddy Ankunda said the operation was commanded by the UPDF 11th battalion commander, Lt. Col. Kanyesige.
Three machine-guns with six loaded magazines were recovered from the scene. Ankunda said they would attack all hideouts outside the ceasefire zone.
