President Yoweri Museveni last evening arrived in Tripoli for a two-day working visit, writes Vision Reporter.He was met at Tripoli Airport by Libyan army commander Gen. Abubaker Yunus Jaber, foreign affairs minister Abdallah Shalgan, assistant minister for African Unity Mokhtor Gannas, Libyan ambassador to Uganda Abdallah Bounadiane, and Uganda’s ambassador to Libya, William Hakiza.Museveni took a presidential salute as the anthems of Uganda and Libya were played and inspected a guard of honour. He also received a 21-gun salute. Museveni was later received at the presidential palace by Libyan leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi.Earlier at the closing ceremony of the 9th IGAD summit, Museveni met Sudanese leader Omar Bashir at the Fellowship Hall in Khartoum.Ends
