KCC FC suspend Malinga

BY NORMAN KATENDEKCC disciplinary committee has suspended want-away defender Richard Malinga for five months with half pay.In a letter to the player, KCC vice-chairman for administration, John Matovu said: “Your actions are not only fraudulent but are also criminal in nature and bound to cause a lot of confusion within the soccer fraternity if they are not contained.”The letter was copied to FUFA, National Football League Committee and club officials.Matovu quoted a number of incidents that led to Malinga’s suspension.They included attending Express training, claiming that he had given KCC officials the sh3m given to him by Express after denying it in the presence of KCC officials.He was also accused of picking money from rival clubs and officials.
