Crowd flees from MIG fighter jets at Kololo

By Joshua Kato Fun turned into fear at Kololo Airstrip on Saturday, when the crowd that had long waited for the appearance of two MIG planes started running helter-skelter when the planes finally appeared. People hadwaited for the two planes since morning. Every one in the crowd was anxious. When the planes came for the first time, the crowd ululated excitedly. However, the second time round, they were too low for everyone’s taste. “They made such a heavy noise that some people took to their heels, while others called their mothers! I saw people banging into each other as they ran, their eyes focussed on the sky. I think they thought the pilots of the planes had lost control and were going to crash.Ends.
