By Emmy AllioTHE Joint Security Unit in Entebbe on Wednesday arrested a Ugandan woman holding a British passport with heroin valued at about sh20m.Security sources said Joanita Sadiq, who hails from Kasese, was in the company of Mohammad Tayak Khan, a Pakistani national.“According to our investigations, Joanita and Khan who arrived by United Emirates flight met in Dubai. Police are investigating them,” a security official said.Two Somali nationals who also arrived at Entebbe International airport by the Emirates plane were held by the security for allegedly using forged Ugandan passports.Police sources said Entebbe Airport has become the main drug trafficking route by mostly Pakistanis who fear to fly directly to Europe since they are suspected at European airports as drug dealers.“Our understanding is that from Uganda the Pakistanis collude with Ugandans who then fly the goods to Europe,” a Police source said.Ends
