By Ebenezer BifubyekaTHE Mbarara District Deputy Water Officer, Edmond Besigye, has said the district has purchased and supplied twelve 50,000-litre water tanks worth sh115m to water-stressed rural areas. “This financial year, we will distribute seven tanks worth sh68m to other villages,†Besigye said.He said five valley water tanks worth sh200m that contain 4,000 cubic metres of water would be installed. He said the sub-counties to benefit from the project included Mwizi in Rwampara county, Kenshumba in Bukanga, Kinoni in Nyabushozi and Ishongorero in Ibanda.
