Kibenge attacks Bageya

By Richards Osinde in JINJAThe deputy minister of information in the Kyabazinga government, Owen Kibenge, has attacked the defeated Iganga district chairman, George Patrick Bageya, accusing him of mismanaging the district and of political bickering.Kibenge was on Wednesday addressing Rural Organisation for Journalists (ROJ) members at Source Café.Kibenge also blasted Al-hajji Kirunda Kivejinja for spearheading a vote of no confidence in the Kamuli LC5 chairman-elect, Kaloli Baligeya Isabirye.“History is against these ageing politicians. Kivejinja is already facing the wrath from fellow politicians and Iganga’s Bageya had to go because of good press work which monitored his tenure,” he said. Jinja district chairman Fred Gume Ngobi presided over the meeting as guest of honour. Kibenge advised ROJ members to acquire certificates and diplomas in journalism.
