Judge Flees

KAMPALA — The most respected place, the court, was yesterday defiled. A suspect attacked the magistrate with feaces and caused an abrupt adjournment. A remand prisoner on charges of being idle and disorderly excreted in his trousers at a court sitting at the City Hall yesterday morning.He smeared his face with the excreta, overpowered the warders at the court cells, jumped over a two-metre high wooden partition and charged at Grade One Magistrate Deborah Wanume. She dodged the mound of excreta tossed at her, jumped off her chair and fled to her chambers.Ends
