On Monday, we erroneously reported that the British government would continue urging President Museveni’s government to open up political space (see Britain to lobby for parties, Monday March 18, Page 4). We have since learnt that is not what British Council deputy director Kate Ewart-Biggs said during the closing of the Campaign Strategies Workshop at Human Rights House.
