JOB TITLE: PERSONNEL & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

JOB TITLE: PERSONNEL & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANTREPORTING TO: THE SECRETARYMAIN TASKS: o contribute to the formulation and achievement of the Personnel objective, and Administration functions of ERA.The successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:-PERSONNEL FUNCTIONS- Performing personnel work including interpretation and processing of various personnel entitlements, maintenance of personnel records and respective correspondences.- Assist, prepare the Authority’s human resource forecasts and budgets in relation to requirements, making plans for their acquisitions retention, motivation and separation.- Ensuring that the Authority develops an efficient, effective and well utilised human resource.- Identify the development needs and programmes organising for training and evaluate the training programs to ensure it meets its objectives- Providing advice to management on personnel issues - Any other duties that may be assigned.ADMINISTRATION FUNCTIONS- Performing administration work including preparing correspondences, reports, evaluations and justifications as required on general administration tasks.- Overseeing the general cleanliness of all offices, telephones, fax machines, photocopies etc are all in good usable state.- In consultation with the Authority Secretary, carry out the administration of vehicles usage, maintenance, fuel consumption, licences and all reports on vehicles.- Supervise drivers, office attendants where necessary and attending to staff welfare requirements. - Carry out the secretariat work, organise staff meetings and in-house workshops.QUALIFICATIONS: BA (SWASA), BA (Social Admin). Additional qualifications such as ICSA, Diploma in Human Resource Management are an added advantage.EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years in a reputable organisation.AGE: 25-35 years.
