FALCONS’ guards Simon Ndaula and Barnabas Namasoko have quit and signed for other teams for the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) 2002 league.

By Douglas Mazune FALCONS’ guards Simon Ndaula and Barnabas Namasoko have quit and signed for other teams for the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) 2002 league.Ndaula, who has been with Falcons since its formation in 1998, has signed for league champions Sky Jammers while Namasoko joined Makerere University Livingstone.Sky Jammers, who were considering pulling out of the league due to financial constraints, have resolved to stay in the league. The league starts on April 20.Jammers captain Godwin Khisa told The New Vision yesterday that Ndaula signed a free contract.“He likes our team spirit despite the financial constraints, so he felt he should be part of us. We will struggle on as we look for a sponsor,” Khisa said.Jinja-based Sky Jammers came into the limelight last year when they upstaged giants Falcons and Sadolin Powers to become the first upcountry team to win the league title.ends
