THE project coordinator of the Uganda Nutrition and Early Childhood Development Project in Ntungamo district, Rev. Enoch Kayeye, has said plans are underway to establish child development and care education centres in various villages in the district.

Enoch Kayeye, has said plans are underway to establish child development and care education centres in various villages in the district.He said the centres would help to raise standards of living, general child care and reduce malnutrition cases among the children.Kayeye was on Wednesday briefing the press on the new strategies of this project in Ntungamo district at his office near the Ntungamo district council offices.He said each village would receive sh2m and called upon the communities to respond positively to the projects when they began.Kayeye, who is also the manager of the project further said they had constructed resource centres in Bwongyera and Ruhaama sub-counties.He said they would focus on children’s activities and preparing them for Universal Primary Education.He said the project would be implemented by the African International Christian Ministry (AIICM).Ends
