Kololo High: What a shame!

Another scandal! This time round it is Kololo High School, which was invited by Hawaii’s Bang Bang boxing promotions to take part in an international friendly on April 27. The schools boxing team, presented to the US embassy for visas, did not satisfy the American officials.When interrogated, it was discovered that the boxers presented were actually illegitimate students. Speaking in vernacular and unsure about what they were being asked, one claimed he was a taxi broker, while the other a butcher. And can one imagine secondary school students failing to speak English!Whatever their intentions were, their actions once again brought great embarrassment to the nation.Ugandan sports administrators were once again exposed as the team was led by none other than the headmaster Hajji Sakka Kamoga. And yet the Kololo boss had some other queries to answer. Last year, Mohammad Kida and George Walusimbi, both national boxers, vanished in the US. Really, what a shame!ENDS
